Level 2 Award in Fire Safety

Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH

The QA Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification specifically designed to provide candidates with a basic knowledge of COSHH regulations and requirements.

 

Suitable for all employees, this 4-hour course is ideal for those who wish to work in environments with hazardous substances, such as: 

Healthcare, Manufacturing, cleaning, Transport, Utilities and Office Environments.

Candidates will learn about the legal requirements relating to hazardous substances, how risk assessments contribute to the safe use of hazardous substances, as well as the precautions and procedures required to ensure that the risks associated with hazardous substances are properly controlled.

The QA Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who want to increase their awareness of fire safety in the workplace.

 

Candidates will learn basic fire safety principles in order to ensure they are keeping themselves and others in the workplace safe at all times.

They will also learn what to do in the event of an emergency and the simple measures that can be taken to control the risk of fires.

 

With subjects covered in just half a day, this course is an ideal way to ensure that all employees have a good understanding of fire safety, whilst minimising disruption to your organisation’s day to day activity

QA Level 2 Award in Working at Height

This regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been specifically designed to increase awareness of safety considerations whilst working at height, including the importance of the equipment used and how to ensure a safe working environment.

 

This course is ideal for those who work or are aspiring to work in any type of environment that may require them to work at height, such as building and construction, agriculture, forestry, factories, warehouses and more.

During this short course, candidates will focus on the safety considerations, legal obligations, control measures and reporting procedures for working at height; leaving the course with knowledge of a wide variety of equipment and
the principles used to ensure safe working at height.

Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment

 

This Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment is ideal for those who have a responsibility for conducting risk assessments, such as supervisors and site managers.

 

This qualification is also suitable for those who significantly contribute to the risk assessment process, e.g. team leaders and technicians.

During this course, Learners will develop their knowledge of risk assessment processes so that they can apply their knowledge and skills when completing risk assessments in the workplace. Topics covered include:

 

The importance of health and safety in the workplace

The principles involved in risk assessment

The relationship between hazard and risk as part of an accident and ill health strategy.

Prices Accredited Health and Safety Course

1 day accredited courses cost £120 pp plus VAT.

1/2 day accredited courses cost £80 pp plus VAT.

Two 1/2 day courses can be delivered in 1 day and split into two sessions (am/pm) and can be two different courses, although it is likely that an earlier start and or a later finish may be required. 

 

2 day accredited courses cost £240 pp plus VAT.

All prices include books, training resources, exams and certification.

 

We are happy to work evenings, weekends and public holidays to minimise disruption to your business.
